RedSky IT is delighted to announce that Shottle Hall have taken the decision to implement their software in their soon-to-open superbly renovated hotel, situated on the edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire
Shottle Hall is a magnificent Victorian country house built in 1861 by George Compton Bell. The last century has seen many changes to Shottle Hall, part of the Chatsworth Estate, has remained the ideal venue for weddings and celebrations of all kinds.
The owners are in the process of renovating Shottle Hall - not only the building itself, which is due to open in late May 2006, but also their IT systems.
With the prestigious building being heavily renovated, the hotel saw this as the ideal time to upgrade their IT systems. Knowing that RedSky IT could help move their hotel into the 21st century and that the systems on offer could expand with their business, they seemed a natural choice.
Currently they have 8 individually designed bedrooms and they looking grow to a total of 23 bedrooms by 2007. Shottle Hall took the decision to implement Entirety Front Office to manage reservations, along with Entirety e-Booking - the functionally rich online booking system, which offers commission free, automated real-time internet reservations for hospitality establishments. In addition to this, Shottle Hall also invested in the EPoS solution from Aztec, which integrates with their front office solutions.
James Davies, Director of Shottle Hall comments, "We were looking for a system that would not only have the functionality that we required, but also for a company who were capable of growing with our business. The refurbishment of the hotel presented an ideal opportunity to install RedSky IT's functionally rich, yet easy-to-use system which would provide 100% guest and staff satisfaction."
The reasons for choosing RedSky IT were numerous. Not only did the hotel feel that RedSky IT offered them a fully integrated solution, they also had complete faith in the ability of RedSky IT.
Davis goes on to explain, "We needed a complete solution for our hotel and we felt that RedSky IT ticked every box. Not only were they professional throughout, they offered us a fully integrated management system which we felt confident could fulfil all of our requirements. The relationship we developed with them throughout the decision making process gave us full confidence that they could deliver their promises.
