Responsibilities:


  • To be part of a team of development programmers producing software solutions for the Hospitality sector.
  • To provide product technical support to the front line support team when required

Ideal candidate:

  • Team player
  • Good interpersonal skills

Skills and qualifications:


Required Experience
  • Java - in particular, Applet creation in AWT and swing, UI design in Java
  • HTML, Javascript, PHP
  • TCP/IP Communication through Java
  • Object Orientation (Concept & Java implementation)
  • Multi-threaded development techniques
  • Windows XP2000
  • Unix
  • Linux
  • IIS and Apache configuration
  • 1-3 years industry experience using Java
  • Plus another Language such as C,C++, or Visual Basic


Desirable Experience

  • Intersystems M (MUMPS) or Cache
  • SQL databases
  • Windows XP2000
  • Unix
  • J2EE - in Particular JSP & Servlets




Other Criteria:


  • Programming of Hospitality systems within the InnTouch product range. Mainly Java development
  • Technical support to the front line support team
  • Working with key customers and other internal departments

Salary:


Based on experience.
The hours are 09.00 to 17.30 Monday to Friday.
