has completed on 31st December 2009 but before trading begins on 1st
January 2010. There are some products where changes can be made in
advance. Please refer to the documentation for the details.
You will not be able to backdate the tax calculation.

As you may be aware, the Irish Revenue Commissioners have decreased the standard rate of VAT from 21.5% to 21% with effect from 1 January 2010.
At MICROS-Fidelio we are committed to ensuring that you receive the best levels of service, and this section is written regarding these forthcoming VAT changes and to provide information about the impact this will have on your MICROS-Fidelio system.
As a result of the VAT rate change, there are certain procedures that you will need to carry out on your MICROS-Fidelio system in order to reflect these changes. The documentation below provides all of the information required to update your system accordingly.
The steps should be carried out following the night audit on Thursday 31st December 2009 in order to take effect from before trading commences on Friday 1st January 2010.
